It's the same kind of additive as Water Wetter and a lot more expensive. Whether it's any more effective I have no idea.
I use water wetter by Redline on two of my cars and it dropped the temp about 8-10 degrees and alot less expensive than 40 below.
lol, gurtz
Great, if I can get the temp down by 10 deg. I'll be tickled pink. I've never been keen on additives, but hey, if it works without gumming things up it may be just the ticket.

Thanx Ace. And it appears you have a driveway full of good 'uns.

That is a very nice looking car.
You will have to drain your antifreeze and lower the mixing percentage for it to work properly. If you google Water Wetter it tells you what it does. It is pretty neat. I have several friends that put it in their rods and it worked well for them likewise. Auto Zone sells the stuff for under $10.00 per 8 oz.
I picked up the additive yesterday and hope to flush and fill today.
Thanks for the info and the kind words Gurtz. Actually, I think it would look really good in dark blue with a chromed out 330hp/350ci engine.

I can't speak from experience Rick, and as I mentioned earlier I've never been pro additives. These products have been around for a good while and are intended for
commercial engines, racing and street rods. They are produced and distributed by reputable companies. There are cautions on the labels to keep off plated, polished, painted, powder coated, and magnesium surfaces. And of course the usual warnings about eyes,
swallowing, etc. I don't recall a mention of aluminum heads or even aluminum radiators. It does state it will not affect factory warranty. That's about all the info I can offer right now.
