Vette(s): 1969 Corvette Coupe. 427/435 4 speed factory installed side pipes. Verified Numbers Matching.
Hello,

I removed the radiator on my 1969 427 for a repair.  While out I ordered a new seal kit for the entire radiator area.   My question is, where does the LOWER BAFFLE FRONT SEAL and REAR SEAL go?

Evidently the radiator was out when the motor was rebuilt prior to my buying the car.  It looks like the baffles were not replaced at that time as I see none in engine compartment radiator support or shroud area.

Any help in locating the correct spot for the baffles will help tremendously.

Thanks,
Mike

If the vender where you got the kit doesn't have any info, you might try several of the Corvette venders that have instructions/videos on their websites. Also an Assembly Manual might show what you are looking for.

I know for my 72 there are diagrams in the back sections of the AIM that cover the options - in my case "LS5" and there is a diagram for radiator sealing. Do you have an Assembly Manual to look at?  Obviously it will be different for your 69.
