Just replaced the A/C compressor, dryer/accumulator/ & orafice valve in my 78 vette.  All came out fine, and all went back in fine.  HOWEVER, now that it's all in, the blower isn't working.  This is new territory for me.  The fuse for the blower is still good, but there is just nothing coming out of the vents now (a/c or heat).  Is there something else, a relay, etc, that could of went bad, or should I just assume the blower motor is gone?

Also, if it is the blower motor, am I correct assuming it's located near the firewall on the passenger side where the a/c line is?

First, check the ground wire on the blower housing. It sometimes gets loose, and the blower won't blow.( which in itself blows! ) Check for 12v at the big orange or purple wire feeding the blower; it should have 12v when the blower is turned on high. There is a blower relay, but it only supplies voltage in "high", so it probably isn't the problem, If you have 12v at the blower, and a good ground, and no blower, the blower is most likely blown!
The blower motor is located on the pass. side, to the right of the A/C housing, and usually a pita to get out on the A/C cars. Adams' Apple38521.8106134259

Thanks Adam,

I'll look into that.  Funny thing - we went out for some drinks, got back into the car a few hours later, and the blower was working again???!!!  Guess she's still shaking some kinks out after being stored for 9 years!
