Anyone have anyone they can recommend to rebuild their original AC Compressor? Looking at sending to Original Air in Florida. Quite expensive but all I'm doing now is throwing expensive R12 at it. I have no intentions of converting, just rebuilding my original '70 compressor.

Had it to a Certified GM Mechanic and seals replaced but still throws oil and freon on my hood, etc.

Are you keeping the car completely original or have you put other non oem parts on it?

If it is a driver and not top flight then I would buy a new compressor not refurb/rebuilt and know that you are good to go without the expensive rebuild.  You can always save the old one just in case.

Corvettes and women are the same...You want to make love to them but they keep breaking down.
