Do you have all your insullators both under the car and under the rugs? Especially make sure the transmission tunnel insullator is there.

If you still have underfloor heat, check the transmission tunnel insulator (foil backed matting) and the foam strip that seals the tunnel opening (wedges between the curve in the firewall and the top of the bellhousing). Without this strip the foil mat is ineffective. Next remove the shift console and check the lower shifter boot (or rubber sheet seal for automatics). Next check the seal at the rear edge of the hood (seals heat from the cowl area). Next check the outside air diverter valve and door seal (in the passenger side cowl area). Last check the foam seals at the frames just in back of the front wheels, sealing the floorpan to the frame. Good luck.
