I would spend the money on electric fans. A fan shroud cost over $100 so why not upgrade to a better system now.

Vette(s): 1972 coupe/350 cid/mild cam/4 spd/20 ft. paint (looks perfect from 20 ft.), but it sure runs nice.
What's the current requirement for electrics?

Thanks...might even end up with a couple more horses to boot, huh, assuming the stock fan is removed with this set-up.

I have a small block but, I wound up buying from Tom also. Been very happy. I got a stock replacement with a 16 inch electric. Temp gauge stay right on the thermostat.

Vette(s): Just finished 2 years of Blood, Sweat, & Tears restoring my 69 Coupe. Crimsom Red, 427, vacuum removed, Shot of Steeroids, Killer Lights, 5 Speed, still working on small things but she is back on the road.
All of you are making me take a second thought about not spending the money for a new shroud. Just invest in a Electric Fan set up. It seems everyone that has move in this direction is very pleased they did. If I go this route is the dual set up better than the single or is it just an overkill for redundancy. |headscratch|

the dual gives you the best coverage area and for hi perf is essential.. in fact with the angled mounting of the radiator with the perpendicular fins you need as much help as you can get..

Thanks Ben as usual, "you are the man". I talked to Tom Dewitt earlier today and he suggested the same. I ordered the dual to match the Rad he previously sold me. Thanks to all you guys. This is a great place to come just read pick up some key points but when you have a question you just can't beat this place.
