Hi team,

Well, the motor is finally days away from being finished and will be dropped in 2 weeks from today! In the interim, I have been a busy beaver with the benefit of the mild weather we've been seeing here in NJ.

Fuel and ignition upgrades:
Upgraded to an MSD 6A and an electric fuel pump system:

Fuel pump and filter - was mounted to the frame next to the tank:

Fuel regulator and MSD 6AL:

New Dual Flex o Lite Fans:

Gas tank w/factory liner and a fresh coat of stainless paint:

and finally, here is my old electric fan. This sucker (no pun intended) will blow your house down, however pulls 40A and I yanked it as I wanted to conserve amperage for the other electrical needs with MSD and electric fuel, etc. $50 + shipping if you can use it!!

Can't wait for the motor to crank up!!Big%20smile I'll keep you all posted!! Thumbs%20Up

Paul

Looking good Paul Thumbs%20Up. Are you running hose from the pump, (high pressure), all the way to the regulator? Steel will give you a much safer set up. If you ever want to run it at the drag track it won't pass tech. I think you can't have more than maybe 4 feet of hose, not sure exactly.
Just being picky,
Dave

Thanks Dave. There's about  7" of rubber fuel line between the regulator and hard line. All else is steel line or braided hose...

If that new 406 looks anywhere near as good as that sweet 327 that lived there before (and knowing you, I'm sure it will!), I can't wait to see pics please, Paul...
