The T-Top is your biggest problem with the heat of the sun, tint it dark. Most Vette owners by pass the heater core in the summer with shut off valves or capping the hoses off. This keeps the cabin cooler. Hope that helps.Big%20smile

I tinted my rear window, it helped a lot, my tops are fiberglass so they are not an issue. If you have the rear window defroster wires on the glass you may have a hard time tinting it.

During the summer I get a windshield solar relector from Wal Mart and cut pieces to fit and tape in on each top (or use Velcro) with the shiny side up. The reflection and insulation work great. I take it off as soon as fall arrives because I like the sun shining in. It is a little red neck but this is Arkansas and hot and humid and I don't want to tint my windows.

I felt our t tops were getting the best of us.  You can buy different tint packages from several of the vette suppliers or have the tinting done locally by a shop.

Personally, I pulled my tops, cleaned them extremely after I had taped them off and painted them a semi flat black.  Sounds like they look like sh*t, but they look Great and talk about work!

Trust me, I live in the Bayou State, we get cooked down here!

Leave the windows down some if you can too let some air out. Vettes are cookers inside but we learn to use all of the tricks and cope with the rest.

Hey Gurtz..... nice to see you back! It's been awhile......

I have tinted glass tops and I believe they help.
Of course where I live, when it is hot and sunny, the tops come off.
