Dang. Me wife dropped a quater down the defroster duct, and I'm still looking fer it.
 
Actually this is a heater core replacement folks. Iffin ya need some tips, I got one under me belt.

Heh T why did'nt you go from the bottom just above the starter is a panel held on with 6 sheet metal screws. No need to drop out the dash it's a 45 min. jobConfused

If the quater is heads up, keep it. If it's tails, leave it and just put it all back together.

When they re-did the A/C and heater core on mine, they found sunglasses and some coin. Turns out the defroster grill on top of the dash had been missing for some time. You know NO ONE makes a replacement for the 78 up defroster grill! Had to pay through the nose for a used one. Aren't these things fun?

Vette(s): 1982 C3 Collectors Edition 44000 miles, sat in the sun most of its life, My wife purchased it for me for Father's Day in 2007 from her girlfriend that had it for 19 years. It is on the road again. I'm retired but it is now my daily driver.
I did my heater core when I replaced my dash.  I have done it on a Vega and never want to do it again.  I also paid my son-in-law $50 to do it and replace the radiator all of the hoses.  I think I got a good deal.  Now I know there is an access plate you can get at it from under the car?

That is great I have heard that the Bronx was a great place close to everything and not much foot traffic.  Let talk about a trade.  I have this place just a little east of here.  Relaxing in the summer no traffic just a good place to be.   A river is close, women are well tanned, etc.  Every heard of Yuma?
