Not getting heat, just air flow-whats up? Could it be the control panel? The lever moves OK. |headscratch| |confusing|

Check your block-to-heater lines for a vacuum or quarter turn manual valve. If you have one, it's there to block water flow to the heater core during warm weather. Which is exactly what may be preventing your heat from happening.

Good hunting!

Also, make sure the temp cable is still attached at both ends. You might have to remove the pass side dash panel and console trim to look. Joe

This may be a stupid question but check to see if the heater hoses are connected to the heater core in the dash. If there was a coolant leak in the interior there may be a bypass connected or even hose from the water pump right back into the block. If this is the case I would suspect that you have a leaking heater core which was bypassed.

Check to make sure the vacume control is working. My heat valve is operated by a vacume type valve. Vacume closes it.You might not be breaking the vacume.
