R12 pressures

My friend is coming over to recharge my AC after I repalced the condencer, it cracked and leaked out. Anyway, Wha are trhe high/low pressures suppose to be? We can't remmeber what we had the last time I had to fix the system.

Might be too late for ya but....

outdoor temp @ 80, low 23-29, high 170-205

                           90, low 26-35, high 205-245

                          100, low 31-40, high 245-285

This from the chart that came with my gauges. Been using this info for 25 years with good results.

How did the project go Brian? You should be in B.G., KY. by now. Mkapp's chart is pretty acurate. However I get a little nervous when the high starts ticklin the 300 range. On real hot day I'd like to see it closer to 250 at the most. Have a safe trip. Terry my7T12007-08-30 04:11:50

So far it is working good. I did have a concern that may crop up again, The hose started leaking at the fitting connecting to the back of th compressor. It stop and I am thinking it was caused by the extreme cold freon being introduced to a warm hose. Once it stopped and we finished the recharge it has not leak again. If it does I will be replacing it without question.
