I have a 71 LS5 with air and since I recently change my water pump the radiator has a very small leak near the top of driver's side tank. It only seems to leak when the temp is very hot(before thermostat opens) It's tought to see where it is but I know the vicinity. My question, can this be repaired? Since it doesn't happen continously, I am going to try and limp it by for the rest of the season and pull it this fall (UGH). I already lost a bunch weeks replacing the water pump and freshening up the engine compartment so I am in no mood to pull the radiator now!

Thanks

Thanks

Yes it can be repaired.  But I would not wait.  It WILL get worse.  And if you are on the road away from home it could let go at the worse time.

Thanks Ken,

I will probably just limit my trips close to home for the time being. Unfortunately with everything I have going with family right now, I don't have time to do it now anyway.
