I’m going to try to do this a little smarter than I normally do. I’m asking advice before I get in to deep.
While I have my dash out of my car (replacing the dash) I was going to replace the heater core just because it would be a lot easier to do it now that anytime in the future.
But before I do this is there any advice someone would like to offer or is there anything that I should also do. As long as your dash-out, it should be straight forward. Be sure to block off the rugs or you will have coolant stains when your done..
If your car has air conditioning you can remove the heater core from under the hood with a little bit of workbuy cutting a plastic tab in the heater box form under the hood. Just split the heater case by undoing the screws and take your time. Hope this helps

Thanks. I will look at under the hood it has airconditioning. My thoughts with the dash out it was $50 well spend replacing the heater core. The car has been sitting most of it's life before I got it.
Just wanted to make sure I did not overlook something else I should be doing.
I have to run the wires have an issue with one window. I will replace the dash speakers with some newer ones so when I replace the radio some day I will have speakers that will take the power. Replacing all of the dash lights. Anything else???
Come to think of it has been sitting most of it's life after I got it. I got to get this animal on the road so I can enjoy it. Best year around topless weather in the USA and I can not take advantage of it.
