Hey Folks,
What would cause air flow to only come out through the lower ac ducts (at driver's right leg...passenger's left leg) of my '82 and not through the upper dash/console vents? I checked that the ducts were connected/attached correctly. What else should I investigate?
Thanks!

My 75 has a lever below the mid-vents to open and close the duct.
Pulled aft it shuts the flow off, pushed forward it allows the air to
flow into the cabin. I'm not sure about your 82.

Jeff, you could have a vacuum problem, or even a broken/damaged cable that operates the "mode" door for the air system. Your car uses a vacuum switching device to change the door positions, and they can/will fail. It is part of the HVAC control in the center console. You may try taking the control panel out of the console, and checking the connections on it.
