What's everyone's opinion on cast aluminum vs. cast iron, other than weight?
Also, how does a Stewart pump stack up against a Weiand or Moroso (less $$ at Summit)?
Thanks,
JR

I went with the Stewart cast iron. The internals are the same as the aluminum pump.I also like the idea that Stewart has a good tech rep. that helped me in choosing the right pump.I am very happy with the Stewart high flow pump.
Good luck on your decision.

I found out the hard way that the aluminum water pump has a thicker mounting ears/base. This caused me to have to come up with another alternator mounting method as my stock bracket would no longer allow my alternator to line up. I have a Weind Team G Water pump. Works fine and has been over 1000 miles since installation.
