I have a 80 vette and just had all the brake lines replaced and the parking brakes replaced with s.s. componets.  After 30 miles, I now have a very pronounced clunking sound coming from the right rear wheel spindle area.  I replaced the half shaft U joints, but they were okay and my noice is still there.  I do not have any noice when and I am in reverse.  I rather not return to the shop who replaced by brake lines and parking brakes as we had a slight disagreement on price.

Get it into a shop somewhere quick! You may have some brake parts loose in there. You may also have a spindle bearing that is going bad. Either way, it could be dangerous.
Get it checked out before driving too much, or too fast!
Just for fun, tho, you may want to check your lug nuts, to make sure they are tight. A loose wheel can cause the noise you hear, also.

When do you hear this noise? When you first put it in gear, or while driving?Adams' Apple2007-01-21 13:08:57

Most likely brake parts if it started once the e-brakes were done. Something must have come loose. Like the Apple said, get it right to a shop - if it is a spindle, it's a really revolting feeling to see a rear wheel pass you up on the road!!! Confused

I don't know Paul I have seen ta tire come rollin out across the intersate. Followed by my glance at the exit ramp to see a 3 wheeled K car truckin along. Seemed kinda funny at the time. I stopped and help the gal put the wheel back on. (After about 20 minutes of searching for a few lug nuts layin around.)

I tend ta agree that Bubba did a poor brake job and that now they are really not gonna like ya to much. Definately have it checked before ya clock many miles on it.

I hear the noice the entire time the car is moving forward.  At all speeds, even coasting.  All the lugs are tight.

Looks like back to the shop.

Thanks
