I have a problem, or maybe its just an oversight on my part. The driveshaft yoke/spine input to the output shaft is different then what what is in my new 200. Is this normal? What Yoke should I be looking for that will work with my driveshaft. I know it doesn't need to be shortened, but I have this hurdle to get around.
Anyone else run into this? Not only does my current yoke not have enough splines, but it is also to large in diameter.

btw....the 350 and the 700R4 use the same yoke!

In the April 2005 issue of Car Craft, there is an article putting a 200R4 into a 65 El Camino. The work was done by Art Carr (reknown trans guru) at his new shop, California Performance Transmission. According to the article, Art is the man in the know on these transmissions.

Hope this may be of help..........

Well I made some phone calls today and other then making a new driveshaft and converting to a 1350 joint system, I managed to find a driveshaft company that can get new 27 spline quick release slip yokes that use a offset style ujoint that will be 1330 on the shaft side and 1310 on the slip joint side. Looks like it will run about 85 total for the ujoint and slip yoke. I'm pleased
