my 69 has a factory 4.11 gear, and a m22 rockcruncher tranny, it is great for gittin down the road but at 60mph I am taching about 38oo rpms at about 8mpg,,3.08 is great for cruzin, with the 454 you outa have enough torque to spinawheel,,rd
