Vette(s): 1975 T-Tops,Lite Custom work,Many engine mod. 700R4 trans. body is shaved,17" wheels bf goodrich g-force tires,heavy sway bars front&rear rack&pinion steering,550 slolom springs with gas shocks.
All you have to do is have the drive shaft shortend.

My local corvette shop is trying to get me to replace my leaking TH350 with the 700. My 80 will require the drive shaft to be shorten, and they will need to modify my shift plate console if I want the overdrive installed. Price is about $1100.

Sounds pretty cheap, are they giving you a used 700R4? If that's with a rebuilt trans, go for it before he changes his mind.
