 Hi guys guess how got a speeding ticket.Cry   74 in a 50.    I dont think I was going that fast.  Could it be off from the trans job. Anyway check your speedometer so you guys dont get a ticket too Car is runing real good.  seeya charlie

Changing the trans won't affect the speedo unless the new trans had the wrong speedometer gear in the tail housing.

Yup..have you done a swap recently? If so, then the speedo gears are not correct.

dohNOW I remember!!! You just went thru a bunch-o-crap with your trans, as I recall. It was a 700 swap.

Anyway, yeah, they have the wrong speedo gears in the trans. You'll need to have the gears changed in order for the speedo to be correct....Ouch
