You'll need a bracket and adapter linkage for the T.V. cable to work with whatever carb you have.
You don't really need any wiring, internal or external. The 700 can be made to have Lock-Up hydraulically, or, you can set it up to have LU in 4th gear only...the problem with that particular set-up is, the LU comes on immediately on top of the 3-4 shift, and it can bog it down.
You'll need the correct bracket for the shift cable, which again can be for an '82 'Vette.
You'll need a shifter mod, if you want to have a manual low gear.
You'll need a torque converter, if the trans does not come with one.
You'll need to determine what speed-o gears you have now, and get some that will work with the 700, and still read correctly.
Give up yet?

All this sounds like way more than it really is. Almost all of this is readily available, and not that expensive.

Bought the internal wiring kit from Bowtie.
