Vette(s): 1978 Base model, White w/red int. L-48, 4-speed, wide ratio. Has 82 CE wheels. New HEI & LT1 Headers now. UPDATE, NEW Tremic 5-SPEED installed.
2007 C6 Yellow Conv. Loaded. UPDATE-Sold Sept. 2021
2016 C7 Yellow Coupe, Z-51, lots of other options.
Could anyone give me the rearend codes for the '78's. Also, where on the rearend can I find the serial no. and the ratio code? Thanks, Chuck

Thanks Jim, that would be great. I see you added a burnout to your little smily faced driver, how do you do that?
I'll look forward to the new info, you guys have been a great help. I know i'll be asking a lot more ??? befor I get my 78 back on the road, thanks a bunch.





Appendix E of the 'Corvette Restoration Guide 1968-1982' by Richard Prince lists the following for '78s (all positraction):
Code OK - Ratio 3.08:1
Code OM - Ratio 3.36:1
Code OH - Ratio 3.55:1
Code OJ - Ratio 3.70:1
