Mark, did you get under the car to see if any clips fell off the shifting rods?

Sounds like something is blocking the rod paths. you heard no noise in the trany...right?
Joel is the tranny master and I'm sure will have some ideas.

Got it into reverse. Wife was a big help; she must have loosened it up. Figures, it was her car initially until I took it over when the driver seat stuck and she couldn't reach the clutch.

Sounds like the linkage might need adjusting. If the linkage for 1-2 & 3-4 don't wind up right in neutral, it can keep the shifter from moving.
Also, there might be a problem with the steering column lock-out cable....or something just got loose.
What did you do to get it to work, and do you think it will stay "fixed"?
