Unless you are the original owner, and know for sure the clutch has never been changed, there's no way to be certain what size it has in it now. The L82 should require the larger(11") disc, but...who knows what it actually has in it now?
Then again, in '78, McClellan was doing everything he could to lower the weight of the car, so it may have come thru with the smaller set-up.
I can dig thru the parts manual and see if it is listed...

Parts manual shows 78 ONLY, without SPHP engine(L82), part #3841673 clutch pressure plate, which is 12 31/64".
'77-'78 w/sphp(L82), part #3884598, which is 11'.
Interesting to note, the L-88 cars used the smaller, 10 1/4" disc...the ZL1 used a dual disc, 10 1/2" set-up...
