Otay...I'll put my '74 on da lift, and let's see YOU do the cushions in 10 minutes....how's that?
Soitainly a lift helps, as does having the experience of doing hundreds of these things over the years. For someone that's doing it on their backs, for the first time, it's gonna take just a wee bit longer than 10 min...

It takes me 10 minutes jest to lift the car
Tuxxy, if the noise is coming from the back, check her shocks, shock mounting pernts, spring bolts, strut rod bushings and TA bushings (hopefully no those!!). Is the spare tahr carrier snugged up good?
Can't think of anything else out back that'll make noise on bumps.
