Hello- A quick update from Classic Chevy 5-Speed. We are always trying to bring you the products you are asking for so here is some teaser information on the soon-to-be available, low-profile shifter that is being built by Red Roberts at McLeod: The shifter is not quite done but it is getting close. The pictures show a straight stub - there will also be several versions of offset stubs to fit within stock consoles of various cars. This is going to be a great option for tight fit situations such as '63-'67 Chevelles, Corvettes, and any other cars with console fitment issues. In addition to its compact size it feels awesome as you shift it - very crisp, yet very fluid. It is easily the highest quality shifter we have seen for the TKO! Also, for the 6-speed guys, this shifter will be designed to work with the T56's. We do not have a price yet. Classic Chevy 5-Speed should have these units available around late January to February. In addition to this shifter, Classic Chevy 5-Speed has some other exciting projects in the works - we will keep you posted. Sincerely, Jeff Mortenson Classic Chevy 5-Speed (760) 230-2045 www.classicchevy5speed.com |
