I'm more than likely converting my TH-350 to a 700R4 in the next two weeks and I want a new shifter. I like the Hurst Quarter Stick and was wondering if anybody had any experiences putting in Hurst Shifters. I don't want one that comes with the big box, because if possible, I'd like to try and keep the stock look in the shifter area, but have the Hurst Shifter rather than the factory. Any thoughts/suggestions/opinions?

you are wanting to have an auto with a shifter that looks like a factory 4spd ??

that sounds pretty cool..

in fact what I think would be pretty cool is if you could make a 4 spd reverse lockout t-handle act like the button on the stock auto shifter.

The Hurst Quarter Stick is an automatic transmission shifter that does look similar to a factory 4 speed. But with a cool trigger!! |biggrin| Its the only one I found (and liked) that looks like it could somehow fit through the stock boot. Some days I like shifting through my auto and I'd just like to have a top notch shifter that won't allow any misshifts. That way I can concentrate more on going, rather than making sure I put it in the right gear.
