I could not find my original thread, so I will start this one.  I have been in contact with Dr. Adams about this, I posted here about this too and I finally have  resolution.  A few years ago, I had a mechanic install a chrome brake vacuum booster and my brakes were wonky ever since.  I had a differnt master cylinder installed this past spring and that was not the problem.  So I ordered a new chrome brake booster.  I had a different mechanic install it and OMG....I have brakes!  I know it is rare for a vacuum booster to fail, especially with my symptons, but I was the lucky one who helped jog a few memories of more than one person here in SC.  The mechanic said, in all his years, he had seen this only once, and that was right after he started working on Corvettes.  When you run 'The Tail of The Dragon', it is nice to have brakes...that WORK (318 curves in 11 miles).

Peace out,

The bolts that hold the booster in place are NOT fun to get to!  Did you have to take the dash out?
