Hey there team!!

      Well, just finished scrubbing up from putting in my freshly rebuilt rear. I went from 3.55 to 3.70. Again I dealt with Jim Stevens from Tylers Parts. This guy is just awesome!! All said and done, he was nearly half the price of anyone else. Same guy that I got my trailing arms from.

    Did a bunch of resto paint work while I was at it. Pics to follow. Again, if you need a rear rebuilt, Jim Stevens is The MAN!! 608-365-0911.

Tell him Paul from C3VR referred you. He said he would give identified club members additional discounted prices!!

Aren't there any freeways where you guys are.Even a stock mid year C3 ( low HP ) will launch pretty good from freeway speeds when you put the hammer down and still proceed all the way down to Disneyland ( 400 mi. ) and get good fuel milage so you can have a couple of bucks to spend when you get there.I guess I just can't imagine those gears. The wife has 355's and her car moves nicely but it's reving 3000 rpm at 60 mph. I don't know , ? it seems high and uses more gas ??? Although I'm sure it's worth it at the drags..............Don't get me wrong, I'm not critisizing, just interested.  Beautiful undercarriage. I wish I had the time ,the money and the patience.aceinthehole4938847.9419212963

You hit the nail on the head! It's personal preference. In this case, I wanted a bit more get to better match the cam, stall, etc, as well as needing a sanity check inside the pumpkin....

I would love the 3.55 and a 200r4 trans.  But for now the budget says stick to the THM400 and 3.08.
