More Lukester Upgrades

OK, so after getting over the initial depression of not going to the C3 event, I took advantage of the warm temps to do some wrenching around. I installed some half shaft caps that replace the original u joint straps and added some cross member supports in the back. Got these products from Dragvette. 

Neat products well made, well designed, don't know that I really needed em, but they were there, I saw, I conquered! Big smile

Those are nice..I think the BB came with those bigger caps from the factory..I am sure it can't hurt..

Those caps were used on any of the higher hp cars, including the big blocks, and the high horse small blocks. Nice addition to any of them, imho. You can never be too safe.

I'd be a little po'd about whoever welded the pipes up burning the paint on the crossmember...
(I know...Imma nit-picky bastige...)

 I just realized after you pointed it out that's what that was from Joel!!Wacko  Most of it wiped off with a damp rag - threw some Valspar chassis black over it fer good measure!!l!!Thumbs Up
