Hey I just pick up my 4 speed tyranny today and it had these numbers on it could somebody tell me what I have?
392550 close to the yoke it had this 3857584 GM
the Bel housing had this on it

might try there.. its a muncie 4 speed... possibly looking like a 1968..or 69 model, but.. not sure .. think you might be a number short somewhere...

Look here for the ID stamp numbers...
Look for something that looks like this...

What you have listed above are just the casting numbers for the case, tailhousing, and bellhousing. The stamped numbers will tell the tale of it's heritage.
btw...these stamped numbers may be on the side, the top, or the bottom...ya just never know...but it will be in that area of the trans(rear).
