Vette(s): 1968 convertible

I had the seals replaced in the transmission as I mentioned in another thread – but when I picked it up I learned that the part that connects to my driveshaft is hammered and I need to replace it.

My 68 Vette has an M22 Muncie, I searched the internet for a parts display but can not see this one.  Maybe it I should be searching for the driveshaft?  I figured I would ask you all first.

I’ll attach a picture:  http://i757.photobucket.com/albums/xx216/crimson_ghost/68Vette/TD.jpg?t=1269638165

You can see the wear marks – must have been bouncing around pretty good for a while.

Ok - found another here:  http://www.dennysdriveshaft.com/p9_corvette_transmission_slip_yoke_1310_series_u_bolt_style_27_.html
this website gives me more information - like spline count.  I have a 27 spline so I think the one I have here is exactly what I need -- do you concur?

If it were me - I would carefully read the RED print in the sales add   -- and then take measurements of my old yoke -as compared to the sale one
According to the RED print -  there is adifference  between the 2 models 1310 vs 1330
the one being sold takes a slightly different size/configuration universal bearing
Just my 2 cents

Vette(s): Sold them Both
I have one still attached to the drive shaft from the 69 car that I started with.  Still in good shape.  With a little rust, but not pitted.  no wear marks.  If you are interested PM me for contact info.

Thank you for the replies.  I did read the red print and I struggled to understand how to measure the yoke.  I believe it will fit my application and I have ordered the part.  I was not 100% on how to measure the part – if anyone is knowledgeable in this I am all ears if you can spell it out in dummy language.

The C-Centrals is not correct for your car.
As for taking measurements, here is some help/info on how/where to measure the yoke, and u-joint.
