Topic: Need help identifying a part
in Forum: C3 Driveline Components
I had the seals replaced in the transmission as I mentioned in another thread – but when I picked it up I learned that the part that connects to my driveshaft is hammered and I need to replace it.
My 68 Vette has an M22 Muncie, I searched the internet for a parts display but can not see this one. Maybe it I should be searching for the driveshaft? I figured I would ask you all first.

You can see the wear marks – must have been bouncing around pretty good for a while.
Drive Shaft Front Yolk - found this on Ebay for $130 : http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1968-69-71-72-73-80-81-Corvette-Drive-Shaft-Front-Yoke_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem588668c50aQQitemZ380212135178QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories

Thank you for the replies. I did read the red print and I struggled to understand how to measure the yoke. I believe it will fit my application and I have ordered the part. I was not 100% on how to measure the part – if anyone is knowledgeable in this I am all ears if you can spell it out in dummy language.

As for taking measurements, here is some help/info on how/where to measure the yoke, and u-joint.
