Adam,
Ya gotta get that search feature working.
Someone posted a request about rear axel ratios or tire sizes or something to that nature. I responded that I knew of a site that had a formula to figure out axel ratios, speed, tire sizes etc. I tried my book mark and the site must have been down. I posted that the site must not be in business anymore.....I was wrong ( hey, it happens ). Here is the URl
http://www.idavette.net/techno.htm. I hope the person that asked the question reads this. This site has some great stuff on it, especially this page.
Very sorry for the bad info I posted last week. |frown| However, this post should make up for it.

Vette(s): 1979 Black coupe. 11256 original, documented, miles on it when I bought it in April of 2000. It now has 13100 on it. Oyster interior, like new. Everything original, everything works, except the clock. Paint has a couple of minor flaws.
I also found a site that has all of the good info about tires, wheels, gears, etc, etc.

Lots of good information on these pages.. |smile|

I have another site which has various charts and formulas to get gear ratios..

Here is my favorite site. It allows you to play around with the variables and see what type of rpm, speed, etc you will get.

Yep, I think it is a great site. All you really need to do is go to your tire manufacturer's site and find out the diameter of your tires and you can just go crazy playing mix and match with the other variables. I have pretty much decided that if I buy another set of gears, I will go for a 355. Thanks idavette.
