Vette(s): 1975 C3 Red, T-Tops, Black Interior. All I need is time and money! Getting there!
Okay I stand corrected. Sometimes Ford and Chevy do meet. But not really, that's not a Ford on top, it's a replicia. Does that count?
Anyway you look at it, that is a wild little ride. I could not turn it down. I also can't afford it.

Vette(s): 1978 vette with an 80-82 stlye rear end molded in. BW six speed & an L82... for now. Lowered with VBP springs and bilsteins. Polished torq thrust wheels. New paint, audio system, aluminum radiator... Flowmaster and extreme flow exhaust components.
And don't forget that little roadster wasn't originally a Ford! Those were from Britain were they not? Also... Rods ARE different. No one would frown at a 32 Ford with a Chevy drivetrain, most common thing. In fact my buddy Dan (66 mustang) has connections with a guy that salvages vipers... He plans on putting a Viper Engine and Trans in a 30's Ford Roadster! He's going to put a decal that says F*%ked Over Rebuilt Dodge on the back window. LOL |laugh|

Yep,

Shelby bought the chassis from AC sports cars of Thames, England, hence the name AC Cobra.

Shelby did alot of racing in europe, in european cars in the 50's, probably how he hooked up with AC motor cars.

wow! look what I started.
First off the Ford 9" was a last option. THye are very good for racing. I know someone who drag races Camaros. He ahs a Ford 9" on his 79' Camaro. I am just going to have the Tranny guy rebuild the rear end. Better to be safe than sorry.

Consider throwin' in some taller gears while he's rebuilding it. Also, it looks like you need to take the transverse spring off to get to the diff. so maybe replace the spring while your at it. I went with a BB spring. |thumb|
