If it's making that much noise better put 2 bottles of additive in ,and you do have to pump it out, unless somebody has been kind enough to put a drain plug in it,try to get as much as possible out,and watch for pieces Shocked

Ron,

I bought 2 bottles of additive from the local GM store today. I'm all set to pump everything out while warm, then fill and do circles and 8's tomorrow morning.

Just hope I don't get arrested for DUI/Reckless driving while manuevering.Wink

Anyway, I'm anxious to get this all done in the morning to see how it works. I'll be driving the "toy" to work after the fluid change. The drive to work is about 40 miles each way so I'll definitely know if it worked or not by the time I get to work.

I'm having a guy use power sucking equipment to remove the old fluid so it should all be pretty much removed. He is a real vette fan and member of the local car club so he knows what needs to be done, but I'll be watching.

Anyawy, will let you know in the A.M.

Thanks for the advice and we'll see.

Ernie

2 Bottles is not better you only need one bottle of posi fluid ,more is not better.

This is the same EXACT sounds my rear end is making, it started on the trip to Carson City, I haven't had a chance to replace the fluids yet but I bet thats what its gonna take.  Glad you solved yours and my problem Clap
