Have a question. My side yoke U Joint clamp has begin to cut into the rearend housing. Am I going to need a new side yoke or is there a fix, like a shim or something inside the housing? Don't think I'm going to fix myself unless it's fairly simple. Don't want to get into anything too complicated or time consuming. Thanks.

I would assume you found that the yokes are worn well beyond the .050" limit of end play?

Oh yea. Came to the conclusion that I'd better go ahead and replace them both and be prepared for some more stuff once whoever I get to fix it goes into it.
