I've successfully changed my 3 speed auto to a 6 speed manual! Obviously it's faster, gets better gas mileage, and has an incredible overdrive, but there was another benefit that I wasn't counting on. The car is undeniably more stable! It handles much better and the steering feels more responsive. It probably has to do with a stiffer tranny mount and much better weight distribution. My car went from about the 8th best handling car that I've ever been in to the 2nd! This is with my stock sway bars! Wow! (I should probably post this in both Driveline and Handling components ) One last thought, I would like to thank everyone in this forum that helped me out, especially smoke-m, I couldn't have done it otherwise.

Congrats! Sounds nice. If possible, could you post information on how you completed the swap, parts used, cost, problems encountered etc?

Had to be stiffness and weight distribution. Interesting. By all means post what you did.
