If the c-clips are worn, the rear can clunk, but with out side load in the independent rear, they usually don't. Common on a solid axle while turning corners.

OK,thanks.I'm having work done on my tranny soon,& while its out adding a B&M torque conv.,so I'll have it looked over before its reinstalled.Also guess I'll upgrade to poly mounts on diff. & tranny.That would then be 2 things checked off the list.
