Vette(s): 1972 conv, 4-speed, 350, 200hp, numbers match, rally wheels, war bonnett yellow w/white top. good condition, nice driver.
While removing the weather strip from my T-tops the weather strip retainer screws were rusty and nasty. As a result I pulled the screws through the fiberglass body of the T-top. Now I have a hole where the screw goes through. Are there repair kits, or something to use to hold the retainer in the fiberglass? THANKS!

Mark, I've have some luck with JB Weld. Not only to bond but it claims it can be drilled and tapped when cured. Resonably priced so it might be worth a try. If you're going the drill and tap route, I would try it on a test piece to see how it works before to apply to your t-top. Good luck and let us know how you make out.
