Well Vette Fans, yesterday, my new motor finally arrived.
Built by my brother in Pittsburgh and delivered by him and My 77 year old dad (a lifelong wrench turner that cultivated our bad habits!!).
HOME SWEET HOME!!!!
VROOM!!!! VROOOOOM!!!!!! VROOOOOOOOOMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its a 406 small block, Eagle forged, balanced rotating assembly, Brodix Track1 heads, Comp Cams custom grind roller cam (.548), roller valve train, Edelbrock Air Gap ported to match heads, 4 bolt splayed caps on main bearings, true roller chain, SFI balancer and a BG Street Demon Carb to top it all off!!

Dropped her in yesterday and going to make the final connections today and hopefully fire her up!!

Thanks all. No actual dyno figures but the estimates are mid 500s on both Tq and HP.
There goes the ujoints, ring gear, yokes, etc!!
(only half laughing!!)
