I need to get an idea of the time and labor costs for these items. Any help will be appreciated as is all the knowledge available. Just a general cost estimate would be great.
Basic info: 1980 L-48 stock Corvette.
Rebuild the automatic transmission with a new torque converter.
Rebuild rear end with new seals and bearings.
Replace all u-joints in the drive shaft and half shafts.
The transmission and rear end are out of the car.

Depends on who does the work, really, the general labor costs in your area.
Trans O/H(a good one, not your "neighbor's brother-in-law" job) on a piddly 350 shouldn't be more than $3-400 max, depending on if there is severe hard part damage or not. Torque converter prices are all over the place, depending on what ya want. Stock, high-stall, etc. Average around $100-$150 for stock. Time? 2, maybe three hours...
The diff might be a bit more, as it is a little more exacting in nature to build, and set-up correctly...maybe $500 max. Time? 4-5 hours, depending on what all is replaced. Replacing the gear set will add considerably to that.
U-joints shouldn't be much more than $30-$40 each shaft, if that much, plus the cost of the joints, unless you supply them yourself. Time? Couple hours max for all three shafts.
