Has anyone had to replace the boot that goes in the body around the automatic shifter. It is located on the hump and I havent seen any venders that carry this. I check at Carlisle last month but no luck. What would the proper name be for it? Any help would be appreciated. This would be for a 1972. 400 trans.
Thanks

Do you mean the grommet that the shifter cable goes through when it passes through the tunnel?

Take some pictures of what you have and we can tell you what you need.
As soon as the body an is done making his mess (hopefully next week) I will take the console off and get some pics. I still havent figured out how to put pics on here but I will work on that this weekend.
