I'm working on replacing the brakes, spindle bearings, parking brakes etc. and when I pulled the half shafts and checked the u-joints they were almosted seized. I've pulled the snap rings and they won't budge. Any ideas besides soaking with WD-40 to get them out?

The u-joints are pressed into the half shaft. If they are rusted the best thing I found for this problem is pb blaster. wd40 is not real good on rustted parts. You have to be carefull when pressing out and pressing in the u-joints not to bend the yoke making the u-joint to tight. If you need more info or have any other questions just email me. Hope this helped.

They need to be pressed out. Be very careful with the yoke at the spindle end, they bend quite easily.
Also, you want to use a different lube than good ole WD. Use a penetrant type, PB Blaster is my favorite, but liquid wrench works well.

I just had to comment on PB Blaster. That stuff is awesome. When I did my u-joints, it was the best tool I had.
