My Shark needs all it's U-Joints replaced, and I have 2 questions:
1.) I see that U-joints are offered with and without grease fittings. Which should I use???

2.) How much time should I "budget" to swap a pair of U-joints?
Thanks!!

I would get the ones with the grease fittings and grease them every 3000 miles.

the ones with grease fitting !!!!!!!
difficult to say how much time it will take.. depends how handy you are.. and if you get shafts easily off the car :)
a tip to get the u-joint "cups" on the shafts ... put them for a night in the freezer .. that way you can press them a lil easier in .

if you don't have a press.. might check with a local garage.. may not charge you a bunch since you are carrying in... and they might even let you use their press to do them yourself.. it's a lot easier with a press...

it can be done without a press... just use a bench-vice and wrench-sockets (on the cups to press cups deep enough in)

One thing I've learned about u-joints, Those with zerks have a passage for grease which is said to weaken the overall structure of the joint for higher torque motors. So.... I don't care for grease fittings on mine, but then I don't mind changing 'em either.
