I don't have my numbers book handy,but the date shown(6-28-79?3) shows it to be for a '79 model car. Muncies & BW trannys were dated for the model year....not the actual date of production. T1198 translates to the 119th day of '78, since they were dated using a Julian date. IF your car is a very early build, it is possible the trans is correct for it....if not, then I would say it has been swapped somewhere down the line. I can further check the numbers when I get home this evening, unless someone else has more info.
130465903 is the actual part number, and the 3-04-066-905is the casting number for the case.

Frank...can you get some pics of this trans, and the numbers you posted? Something ain't right....those numbers, other than the actual casting #, are not coming up anywhere.....
Or...can you point out on this pic what numbers are where on your trans?

Is there a VIN stamp on it, either in the location shown above, or on the driver side, as in this diagram?
