Hs anyone installed the ZIP Products 4-Speed shifter rebuild kit (part # ST-380). It is supposed to make a loose shifter feel like a brand new one.

I was wondering if you removed the console cover how much trouble you had with all of the vacuum control lines, etc? Also, did you remove the linkage arms and pull the shifter up or drop it down?
