Has anyone installed the back seat cushion to the seat back on a 1982 Vette?

I'm having a hard time getting the wire to grab on to the clips on the fiberglass.

xfire, I'm confused by your statement "the clips on the fiberglass"? I've replaced both the seat cushions and seat backs on my '82 and found that if you slightly bend the clips on the back of the cushions, they will snap into place on the seat shell which is made of plastic. Take your time, it's not easy.Good luck.
