Need some help - on a 1971 Corvette, 350, auto with a/c,  I put in a new a/c wiring harness.  I have two issues that I can't seem to be able to figure out using a wiring diagram.

First - on the compressor, there is a two prong connector.  if you are sitting in the drivers seat, which side of the compressor (left or right) does the GREEN wire side of the plug attach to the compressor ?

Second -  in the console, on the heater / a/c main control unit harness,  there is a two prong connector that has 3 wires - gray / tan (brown) on one side, light greeen on the other side.  It connects to a switch on the side of the assembly.   As it sits in the console, does the green wire attach to the top or bottom terminal ?

Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,  Ronnie

Connector terminals usually have a small "barb" on one side, and the connector itself will have a slot on one side. The side with the slot on the connector will fit over the barb on the terminals. Look closely to see if your two switches/connector have this feature.
On the A/C compressor, it really doesn't matter which way it fits...it will work fine either way, IF the connector will actually fit both ways.
