My passenger side headlamps sometimes don't go on or will be and and then go off. I don't have any issues with the driver side. This will happen with both the low and high beams. It sounds like a grounding issue to me, but I am not sure. Does anyone know what might be causing this and where I should look? Thank you.

Vette(s): 1982 C3 Collectors Edition 44000 miles, sat in the sun most of its life, My wife purchased it for me for Father's Day in 2007 from her girlfriend that had it for 19 years. It is on the road again. I'm retired but it is now my daily driver.
Does your High Beam indicator work?

Head light switch Lt Blue wire goes into the High Beam switch out of the switch a Tan (low beam) and a Lt Green (high beam) wires come out.

The Tan wire goes to the Left head light where it branches off and another Tan wire goes to the right head light.  One tan wire goes into the firewall socket and one comes out the other side straight through it looks like.

Now the Lt Green wire going into the fire wall plug comes out as two separate Lt Green wires.  One going to the left side head light one going to the right side head light. After going though the lights all high and low beams come to a common ground via separate wires.

Hope that helps if you can read wiring diagrams let me know and I will send you one that was given to me.

when the headlights are not working check the passenger side turn and marker lights it looks like they use the same ground. If they work I would get new light bulbs might be a good time to get High intensity bulbs and when you install them check all connections at the lights real good. I believe the grounds are located center fender supports. The wires for the passenger side come from the driver side connectors (at the bulbs)

Thank you. The connections at the lights were loose.
