Nice to hear from other Nova Scotians. We move here from Ontario in 1998 and fell in love with the place.
As far as I can tell there is a gizzmo(switch??) located behind the right side dash that is made of two dissimiallar metals. Once the light comes on and power is flowing to this switch I quess the heat generated through the wiring coiled in the switch causes them to break contact and shut the light off.I am having a real difficult time finding the name of this (SWITCH???)a part # or anywhere I can buy one. I am trying to find a local electrical shop capable of either testing an repairing or rebuilding this part.If I am successful I will let you know. Thanks for the quick responce I'll keep in touch.Regards Roger Caissie
